Cynthia Lee Darling is a San Francisco Painter and Jeweler
Cynthia Lee Darling is a San Francisco scientist, painter and jeweler. Her research career in science had shifted to abstract painting in 2019. Inspired by her love of geometry from her minor in math, she paints shapes and lines to create mesmerizing patterns. The geometric style of painting has really pushed her to become innovative and experimental with each original piece of artwork. The challenge of aligning shapes, lines, and colors to create an interesting composition has continued to fascinate her and this show will allow one to examine how chaos can recombine to form shapes and patterns on a blank canvas.
Her work has been shown at the San Francisco Women Artists, ArtSpan, Arc Studios & Gallery, Sanchez Art Center, Vintage Berkeley and the Art Guild of Pacific.
